Ballinamonabeg stone installed.
Progress continues
On June 3rd, 2014 the Ballinamonabeg stone was erected – pictured below are Pat Devereux, Jimmy Adams, Peter Wickham, Michael Burke, John Burke and James Adams.
The inscription reads “A thriving hamlet existed here until the Inn (1798) and chapel (1799) were burned. A new chapel was built in ballymurray presaging the hamlet’s decline.”
