Heritage Week 2015 – Unyoke to Oulart Hill Walk a great success
A great crowd joined us on a beautiful moderate grade 12.5 km walk through exceptionally rich historic 1798 countryside packed with incident related to military build-up to the Battle of Oulart Hill. The Unyoke Walk brings you past the celebrated Bygone Days House of Stories to Oulart Hill, site of world famous Tulach a’ tSolais monument to 1798 in its particular context of the European Enlightenment and presently a focus of this year’s Wexford Walking Festival on 25-27 September, 2015.
When: 29th August 9:30 AM to 13:00 PM
Where: Starts at the Trading Post Camping and Caravan Park, UnYoke, Ballaghkeen.
No cost and booking is not required.
